snub. helps people stop vaping. It never promotes it.
Who snub. is for
snub. is a free quit-vaping support app for ages 13 and up. It’s published by SMF Systems Ltd t/a Vape Guardian.
It’s designed to be promoted by UK secondary schools to students who want to stop vaping.
How vaping is mentioned
snub. never depicts, promotes, sells or glorifies vaping, tobacco or nicotine.
The only references to vaping are there to help people cut down and quit:
- 90-second craving distractions: brain games, hand and head resets, and breathing exercises.
- A plan to quit cold turkey or taper down gradually.
- Heads-ups before cravings usually hit.
- Progress tracking, including the money you get back by not buying vapes.
What snub. doesn’t have
- No sign-up or account.
- No chat or messaging.
- No user-generated content.
- No social features.
- No ads.
- No in-app purchases.
- No web browsing.
Data stays on the device
Everything someone logs in snub. — cravings, vapes, their plan and settings — is stored only on their device. We have no servers that hold it.
The app counts anonymous events, such as “craving started”, to help us improve it. These never include names, free text, locations or money. Read our privacy policy for details.
Discreet by design
Discreet mode hides stats on the home-screen widget and in notifications.
Lock-screen and widget text never mentions vaping, so nothing on screen gives away what the app is for.
Not medical advice
snub. doesn’t give medical advice. For extra support, visit NHS Better Health, or talk to your GP or school nurse.
