Supporting your child to quit vaping: snub. is a free app that helps young people aged 13+ get through vape cravings, one at a time. There's no sign-up, no account, no ads and nothing to pay. Cravings, plans and places are stored on the phone, not on a server. It's made by Vape Guardian, who work with schools across the UK on vaping. Find it at getsnub.app. If you're worried about your child's vaping, you can also speak to the school or your GP.

Why it's safe to recommend

No account, no personal details

No sign-up. We don't collect names, email addresses or phone numbers.

Logs stay on the device

Cravings, triggers, plans and settings stay on the device, not our servers. Reset or deleting the app deletes them.

Location is optional

Off by default. If used, it's rounded to about 100 metres, stored only on the device and never sent to anyone.

Anonymous usage counts only

TelemetryDeck counts anonymous events like 'distraction used' to help us improve the app. No names, free text, locations or device identifiers.

No ads, no selling data

What snub. does

Craving button. 90-second distractions to help you get through cravings: brain games, hand/mouth options and quick head resets.
Your plan. Stop in one go or cut down gradually.
Spots patterns. See when and where cravings happen.
Optional heads-ups. A heads-up at tricky times and places, if you want one.
Discreet widgets. A discreet lock-screen and home-screen widget that never says what it's for.
Discreet mode. Keep things low-key.
A slip isn't a reset. No streaks back to zero.
